This set of worksheets teach the spelling pattern “sion” where the “si” says /zh/ as in television. Emphasis is on the knowledge and application of the vowels to help with the spelling of these words.These words use a long vowel then “sion” to spell the word except the troublesome “i” where a short vowel is used followed by “sion“.
