Topic 2 Visual Discriminaiton of Short Vowels 
A reading and discrimination activity of the five short vowels. The word is read and then the same word is found on the short vowel word board. One vowel can be picked or a selection to ensure discrimination of /a/, /e/, /i/, /o/ and /u/. The ability to discriminate between the vowel sounds is essential for reading and spelling.
