The next twenty essential words are beginning to use a more extensive vocabulary. There are twenty-eight worksheets incorporating, concept cards, visual imagery, visualisation, verbalisation, mnemonics, blending and syllable division. A spelling test is given to check that the words have been retained and learnt.
