The aim of “Give The Silver balloons For A Birthday Surprise” is a game to practise and reinforce discrimination skills of /er/, /ir/ and /ur/. Players move round the board collecting words with these 3 spelling patterns. The winner is the player who completes one of their /er/, /ir/ or /ur/ balloons by spelling 8 words correctly.
