This set of worksheets teach the dark “l” spelt “le” The mnemonic “little elf” is used to help with the correct order and spelling of these ‘le” words. Included are “ble” words as in table, “gel” as in eagle, “tle” as in little, “fle” as in baffle and ‘zle” as in puzzle. Finally the words that don’t follow this rule such as kenne, vowel, towel, camel, travel, parcel and cancel are taught.
