Suffixing Rule 3 is taught in these multisensory worksheets. When adding a consonant suffix to a lengthening “e” word keep the “e” and just add the ending. There is a large variety of exercises to complete to practise the rule. Then there are a collection of worksheets where the student needs to be able to discriminate between Suffixing Rule 1, 2 and 3.
